Who We Are
Bugstop is a specialty pest control company designed to serve the real estate industry…primarily buyers with WDI reports, treatments of all WDI and general pest control for consumers following the transactions.
We understand the nuances of the real estate industry such as disclosure, confidentiality, option periods, closing dates and working within FHA and VA rules and requirements.
We understand the demanding schedules that Realtors have and how to communicate with clients and other affiliates.
We know that how we explain WDI reports to the client is of particular significance to the Realtors and sellers involved.
We are a member of the local association of Realtors and a lifetime member of TREPAC. We are an active participant in industry events and sponsorships.
The founder of Bugstop has been a TREC licensee since 1995.
Bugstop was first founded in 1996. It has undergone several name changes and changes to its legal organization. It is presently organised as a Texas LLC and is owned by Pest Services Network LLC.
Bugstop serves its clients, and real estate professionals it works with, by accentuating education concerning the biology of wood destroying insects, the promulgated state forms, and the regulations involved with these services. The rules are critical and most professionals involved in the WDI industry are not educated or even aware of the rules concerning the procedures, requirements, or forms.
The management of Bugstop has personally performed more than100,000 WDI inspections. We have managed an additional 150,000+ inspections since 2009 through WDI Solutions, our statewide WDI program for home inspectors, which is by far the largest in Texas and likely in the US.
Bugstop management knows how to explain reports to your buyers, sellers, mortgage companies, and government agencies in a manner that will make sense to them.
We offer WDI reports in San Antonio, Austin, DFW and Houston. We support our inspectors with a team of licensed, experienced treatment technicians.
We will begin offering Comprehensive Pest Inspections in 2021. CPI includes WDI inspections but further includes critical pests that concern buyers. Examples include, Bedbugs and rodents that may have invaded air conditioning ductwork, thereby releasing dangerous bacteria and viruses in the living area. We will also be offering control and elimination services for these pests in 2021.
